We all have about same number of melanocytes. Yet, in few people cells make more melanin (the skin colouring pigment) than others. More melanin you have, darker your skin is. over production of melanin can give you, sun tan, acne spots, melasma, dark circles, uneven skin tone etc.

How do you know if you are suffering from skin pigmentation?
